Farewell to Sertig Dörfji

The Sertig Dörfji is the only hamlet in Davos that has been able to retain its original character to this day and has been spared from new buildings. The historic Walser settlement in an impressive mountain landscape is a central point of identification for all Davos residents, second homes, holiday and day guests.

The contrast between this scenic idyll and urban Davos is of central importance for tourism marketing. The Sertig Dörfji also plays an important role in conveying the cultural and historical heritage of the Walser and the history of the Davos landscape. But soon it could be over. The municipality has granted building permits for two single-family cottages on the greenfield site. Plans for more holiday huts are also already in place. Soon it will be "Welcome to Resort Sertig Dörfji."



We want to take a close look at our Sertig Dörfji one last time before the speculators drive up with the excavators.
