Not submitting to any genre is part of what makes Juli Lee's music so appealing. In an unconventional way, she combines groovy rhythms and driving basslines with finely selected elements from a wide range of styles - and still manages to create a homogeneous, captivating sound.

Growing up in Bern, Switzerland, Julia alias Juli Lee gives no indication at first glance of the tech-savvy nerd hiding under her wild mane of curls. Her favorite topics: Delays, equalizers, sidechain, bass sounds and audio technology - or simply: music. Since being taken under the wing of renowned producer Ben Mühlethaler (B-Note Studios), her creative work has intensified. The opportunity to learn from a master of mixing and producing is a privilege for her - one that she makes the most of to the very last second.

Her sound is a danceable, catchy mix of house, deep house and techno - characterized by a clear line, despite diversity. Juli Lee does not believe in the separation between "underground" and "commercial". Nevertheless, she loves to surprise her crowd with fresh, as yet unknown sounds. For her, it is the job of DJs to save great music from being forgotten in the social media flood.
