Singer-songwriter Max Berend celebrates cheerful serenity as an attitude to life with his music. His music moves between folk, pop, chanson and a touch of jazz – it flows between genres like his lyrics between places, languages and stories. It tells of the small moments that make life great and turns the mind's eye into a cinema screen. At his concerts, he creates space for lightness, closeness, amazement and belonging – for music that feels like home and sounds like freedom. His concerts live from the interaction with Bettina Hummler on piano, Alan Tucci on bass, Andri Weber on drums and the audience. Those who come leave with a smile. And often with a melody to go through life cheerfully and serenely.

Max Berend de Boer, born on October 19, 1992 in Davos, grew up in a Dutch family. His parents came to Switzerland for work and made Davos their home. Max discovered his passion for music at the age of 14. His guitar teacher Vita Senn played a decisive role in this by giving him the freedom to develop musically.

Today, Max Berend lives in St. Gallen. He is passionate about his music, his own company in the field of inclusive communication and the mission to make people happy with his art.

Bettina Hummler on piano, Alan Tucci on bass, Andri Weber on drums and Micha Surber on sound. Together, they transform every concert into an emotional experience that conveys both lightness and depth.
