On Friday, February 6, 2026, the multi-award-winning saxophonist Nicole Johänntgen will transform the Church of St. Jakob in Klosters into a living sound space. From 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., she will perform a solo concert that uses the special acoustics of the nave as a player.

Nicole Johänntgen is one of the most distinguished jazz saxophonists in the German-speaking world. She has received numerous awards – including the International Jazz Contest Monaco, the JTI Trier Jazz Award and the European Yamaha Saxophone Contest – and has played with artists such as Daniel Powter, Roger Cicero, Eric Harland, Aaron Parks, Nils Landgren and Stephan Eicher.
