Nicole Johänntgen is one of the most distinguished jazz saxophonists in the German-speaking world. She has received numerous awards – including the International Jazz Contest Monaco, the JTI Trier Jazz Award and the European Yamaha Saxophone Contest – and has played with artists such as Daniel Powter, Roger Cicero, Eric Harland, Aaron Parks, Nils Landgren and Stephan Eicher.
