Description
Important note for summer 2025:
Due to renovation work in the Carschinahütte SAC, overnight stays are currently not possible there. The next station is the Schesaplanahütte SAC.
The second stage of the Prättigauer Höhenweg ending at Carschinahütte starts in St. Antönien, a traditionally preserved Walser village and the first mountain hiking village in Switzerland. The first path goes from St. Antönien to Partnun, with the first stop at the Partnunsee. From there, the trail ascends briefly a bit steeper. At the foot of the Sulzfluh, the first climbers can already be seen on the rock walls. After about 3:05 hours of walking, a fine meal with regional specialties and a warm bed await at the Carschinahütte.
