Take the double-decker cable car to the Alptrider Sattel and continue to Alp Bella in the direction of Grübelekopf, before turning right to Oberer Malfrag. On the descent, you first pass the Fliesser Stieralp and then the Fliesser Alp.

Description
The Alptrider Sattel - Ober Malfrag - Samnaun-Compatsch route is a scenic hiking trail in the border region between Austria and Switzerland.Starting from the Alptrider Sattel, the trail leads through picturesque Alpine landscapes with marvellous views of the surrounding mountains. (Spatlakopf, Mathäuskopf). On the way to Ober Malfrag you will experience the natural beauty of the region, such as meadows and possibly encounters with native wild animals.On the descent, you can stop off at the Fliesser Alpe. The hike ends at the Samnaun-Compatsch bus stop in the village.

This hike requires basic alpine experience and a good sense of orientation. Public Transport
- With the Rhaetian Railway (from Chur, Landquart/Prättigau or from the Upper Engadine) hourly to Scuol-Tarasp station
- Continue by PostBus (from Scuol-Tarasp, or Martina, cunfin) hourly to the PostBus stop Samnaun-Ravaisch, Bergbahnen
- In Samnaun, hourly service during the day with the Samnaunbus
Anreise Information
- From the north: via Landquart - Klosters by car transport through the Vereina tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains). Then take the H27 in the direction of Scuol and Martina to Vinadi. At the Vinadi junction to Samnaun (approx. 1 hour from Vereina south portal)
- From the east: via the Inntalstrasse B180 via Landeck to Pfunds, junction Kajetansbrücke and via Spiss to Samnaun.
- From the south: via Reschenpass (Nauders) on the B180 to Pfunds, turn off at Kajetansbrücke and via Spiss to Samnaun.
- Take the double-decker railway from Samnaun-Ravaisch to the Alp Trida saddle.

Free parking spaces at the cable cars in Samnaun-Ravaisch.
