Description
Behind the Arosa train station at Obersee, you board the Weisshorn gondola and get off again at the middle station. From there you turn right and after just a few meters you reach the Arosa Bear Land directly. After watching the bears, you return to the Arlenwaldweg. After about 300 m, you leave the small road to the left and follow the hiking trail. From there, the hike heads towards Maraner Hauptji (2157 m above sea level). At Maraner Hauptji, you will be rewarded with a beautiful view of the village of Arosa and the surrounding mountain world. Even the upper Schanfigg can be seen. After enjoying the view, follow the path to Scheidegg and continue hiking to the two Pratsch lakes. At the upper Pratsch lake, there is a fire pit. From there you return to the well-prepared path to Pratschalp. From there, a narrow and romantic hiking trail through nature leads to the Maran cheese dairy. In the cheese dairy, there is delicious cheese made from the milk of the four alpine regions or something to drink and eat. A little further down is the Golf & Sporthotel Hof Maran. Opposite is the start of the squirrel path. On the squirrel path, there is a playground, a fire pit, and many animals that will eat from your hand. The path ends at Obersee, directly next to the Arosa train station and the valley station of the Weisshorn cable car.
