Description
From Pardiel we hike on the legendary Bettlerweg past rare alpine flowers over the Zanuz Tobel to the Alp Tristeli. We are constantly accompanied by the wonderful view of the Tamina Valley. The crowning finale is the Tamina Gorge, where the famous thermal water springs that makes the region so well known.

The combined hiking & spa offer allows you pure relaxation in the Tamina Thermal Spa in the same thermal water after a hike at Pizol.
Equipment
Day hiking backpack (approx. 20 liters) with rain cover, sturdy and comfortable footwear, weather-appropriate and durable clothing in a layering system, if needed telescopic poles, sun and rain protection, provisions and drinking water, first aid kit, pocket knife, mobile phone, if needed headlamp, map material
It can get wet in the source gorge, we recommend appropriate clothing.
Directions
From Pardiel station we follow the signs towards Bettlerweg and hike over the Zanuz Tobel to Alp Tristeli. From Tristeli the path leads over Alp Branggis down to Valens. Along the way we repeatedly cross the road leading up to the alp. Arriving in Valens, we choose the path towards Klinik Valens and pass it on the right before reaching a hiking path that leads us down to Old Bad Pfäfers. Along the way there is a junction. Both directions are possible here. Either we hike directly to Old Bad Pfäfers or we choose the small additional loop down to the natural bridge over the Tamina Gorge, then also arrive at Old Bad Pfäfers, where the official entry to the Tamina Gorge is located.
From Old Bad Pfäfers we return to Bad Ragaz either on foot (approx. an additional hour) via the natural road or by post bus.
