Description
The permanently established route for ski tourers leads approximately 890 meters in altitude from the Diavolezza valley station beside and away from the ski slope up to the mountain station. The pioneer project offers "Türelers" a safe and marked training opportunity. Ski tourers can also leave their luggage at the valley station. Upon arrival at the Diavolezza, luggage awaits at the mountain station ticket office.
Note: Use of the ski touring route "Diavolezza Challenge" is only permitted with a valid ticket (ski ticket or Diavolezza Challenge ticket).

Safety Note
- "Diavolezza Challenge" is a route intended and suitable for ascent with touring skis & splitboards, which is marked (yellow marker poles) and secured against alpine dangers, but neither maintained nor monitored. No final check in the evening!
- Observe warning signs and closures.
- Do not leave the marked route (yellow marker poles).
- The ten FIS rules also apply to ski tourers.
- Ascents and descents are at your own risk and responsibility.
- Descent on the ascent route prohibited.
- No snowshoe hiking.
- Check the panorama board at the valley station entrance for the current status of the ascent route "Diavolezza Challenge," slopes, and lifts.
- Outside operating hours, the ski touring route "Diavolezza Challenge" and the slope descent are closed and not secured against dangers such as avalanche blasting or slope machines with winches and cutters. Danger to life!
- Observe closures due to avalanche danger/avalanche blasting.
- Check the current avalanche situation at www.slf.ch or at the Diavolezza valley station ticket office.
- The instructions of the SOS piste and rescue service must be strictly followed.
Equipment
- Safety equipment: avalanche transceiver (LVS), shovel, and probe. Helmet recommended
- Clothing: Wear clothing appropriate for the weather conditions.
- Take sufficient breaks and drink enough fluids (no alcoholic beverages). A small snack during the ascent is recommended.
