Description

They accompany hikers on their way to the chapel of Clavadi. Since the time around 1600, Stations of the Cross with 14 illustrated stations have been built. They show the way of Jesus from the condemnation by Pontius Pilate to the crucifixion and burial. The paintings are based on the Stations of the Cross of the parish church of Sedrun and were restored in 2008 by the painter Gieri Schmed. In connection with the restoration of the paintings, the granite columns were placed on the new road to Clavadi.
