Description

Behind the Arosa train station near Obersee, you get on the gondola of the Arosa-Weisshorn cable car and get off again at the middle station. There you can get the all-terrain JST Multidrive wheelchair. An employee of the Arosa Bergbahnen will give you a short introduction.

From the middle station, turn right and after a few meters you will reach the Arosa Bear Sanctuary. After watching the bears, head back onto the Arlenwaldweg. You move through the middle of the hiking and skiing area, which shows itself in summer with green meadows and grazing cows. At the Maran dairy, there is delicious cheese made from milk from the four Alps of the region. A little further down is the Golf- und Sporthotel Hof Maran. The Eichhörnliweg begins opposite. There you will find a playground, a fireplace and many trusting animals. The trail ends at the Obersee, right next to the valley station of the Arosa-Weisshorn cable car. To protect the squirrels and nature, it is important to stay on the path and not follow the animals.
