Description

The starting point of the winter hike is the Monbiel parking bus stop. Reachable from Klosters Platz. For those who like it cozy, travel with a nostalgic carriage through the beautiful winter landscape to Monbiel, the highest permanently inhabited settlement in Prättigau.

From the bus stop, follow the marked winter hiking trail with a gentle ascent to Pardenner Boden and then on to Alp Garfiun. Shortly before reaching the mountain hut, the path ascends a little more. Once at Alp Garfiun, the cozy hut with fine alpine dishes and fantastic mountain panorama invites you to relax.

On the way back, descend from Alp Garfiun to the Landquart river, follow it to Baretschrüti. Then the path leads along the Landquart below Monbiel back to Klosters Platz.
