Details
Description
The hike starts at the Palfries mountain station. After a 3 km ride with the Palfries cable car, which overcomes around 1,250 meters in altitude, the paved path leads to the Palfries mountain inn. After the parking lot, we turn right and follow the mountain path towards Alvier. At the point «in de Stei» we turn left again. Now the path constantly descends slightly, passing the Alp Malun. Along the way we pass alpine flowers and enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains. After Alp Malun, a gravel road runs for about 400 m before we turn left again onto a hiking trail. At the «Schwamm» we reach the alpine access road again and follow it to the Hotel Kurhaus Sennis.
