Description
The starting point for this 6.4 km long trail is the info point of the Station Flumserberg at the playground on the Prodalp (1576 m above sea level.M). The first par 100 meters on the Prodriet plateau are ideal to warm up, because they have almost no slope. At Prod (1589) begins the gentle ascent over several kilometers to Alp Panüol (1803). The well-developed alpine road - some of which is even paved - leads through small forest passages, over cow pastures and past the Rotenberg barbecue station. Arriving at Alp Panüöl you will be greeted by numerous garden gnomes and other mythical creatures, which are beautifully landscaped in a garden. From here the run-in is definitely over, because from now on it will be partly really steep. On the less well-developed alpine trail, it is a relatively short distance to overcome over 100 meters of altitude difference to the Maschgalugge (1953). Once at the top, you have reached the highest point of the Panüöl Trail and are rewarded with a magnificent view of the Churfirsten and the Walensee. On the last section of the trail to the Prodkamm mountain station (1939) you can recover from the strains of the steep ascent. Here the trail leads almost exclusively straight along a well-developed hiking trail past interesting rock formations.
