Description
Almost thread-straight our trail runs into the Val Milar, up to the point 1898. Here we climb to the right in steep bends up to Alp Caschlé. A legend tells that witches transported a flat stone on a spider thread from the opposite Alp Culmatsch to Alp Caschlé and danced on it. But the hexenplatte / Platta dil Barlot is snowed in and we don't see any witches far and wide. Instead, we startled a few chamois. If we look north, we can already see our goal. A ski depot can be made at the foot of the Eastern Ridge, but if there is enough snow, the summit can be reached by skis. Because we do not find a summit cross with a summit book, we build a small stone man as a sign that we were here. We take our time to identify the mountains: Don't Piz Muraun, Cazirauns and Caschleglia look almost like the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau?
departure:
Option 1: Along the ascent track back to Val Milar.
Option 2: Via Stavel da Caschlé to Foppa Verda and along the edge of the forest (wild rest zone) into Val Milar. Be careful because of avalanches, if necessary slip a bit at the edge of the forest.

Sicherheitshinweis
In the steep slope near Foppa Verda there is a risk of avalanches in high winter. After an avalanche, the slope is often snow-free.
