Piz Mundaun - Ilanz

The view is remarkable when you consider that Piz Mundaun is just 2064 meters high. Apart from the modest 2064 meters to the 699, on which the station Ilanz is located, there are a whopping 1365 meters of descent in between - and this over a high proportion of single trails. The ascent is by post bus from Ilanz to Surcuolm and by train from Cuolm Sura to Piz Mundaun. After all, 1100 meters of ascent can be saved without having to put up with the accusation that you did not pedal at all. Many, partly newly built single trails, alpine roads and forest roads bring you back to the starting point in less than two hours, where most people conclude that not only the view was remarkable.

Attention: The cable car from Cuolm Sura to Piz Mundaun does NOT transport e-bikes. With the engine, some power and technique you can drive up almost every meter to the summit.
