Description

In 1910, the water of the natural Lüschersee above Tschappina was drained because it was suspected to be related to the landslides on the Heinzenberg. In 2019, the lake is now to be refilled to investigate whether the lake is sealed enough to provide enough water at the beginning of winter to serve as a reservoir for a technical snowmaking system of the Tschappina-Lüsch-Urmein ski lifts.

From the Obergmeind it goes past the reservoir up to the Lüschersee. From there it goes along to the glass pass. On the way you will discover many alpine roses and blueberry bushes. The round goes back, usually via another path to the starting point in the Obergmeind.

Geheimtipp

Connect the hike with the KulinarikPass offer.
