Description

Alternatively, you can choose not to climb the first few meters and start in the small village of Vnà. The path leads to the small hamlet of Zuort and on to Griosch without any major incline. At Griosch, the trail forks and you follow the path in a north-easterly direction, the Aua Chöglias. At the end of Val Chöglias, the path takes a sharp left and climbs up to the summit of the Fimberpass. The trail then descends at a leisurely pace to the Heidelberger Hütte in Val Fenga. The Heidelberger Hütte is also open in winter. Follow the Fimbabach stream down into the valley to Ischgl. From Ischgl, there is a connection through the ski area in summer and winter to Samnaun in Switzerland, from where there is a PostBus connection to Scuol.

Safety Note

The tour was evaluated in favorable weather conditions, the current weather conditions and weather forecasts must be observed before the start of the tour. This hike requires basic alpine experience and orientation skills. Trekking shoes are recommended.
