Description

The ascent from St. Martin to the Heitel Pass leads over the Alpweg through shady fir forest to the Malanseralp. During the ascent we have a unique view of the Ringel Group and the Sardona Mountains. Opposite the Chüetal, is very close, the rock niche, where since 2010 the first 10 bearded vultures have been released north of the Alpine ridge in Switzerland. Not infrequently you get to see the majestic birds. The idyllically situated Heitelseeli, abundance of flowers as far as the eye can see and the falling waterfalls of Batöni are further highlights. Experienced eyes can also see marmots and chamois.
