"It is more blessed to give than to receive," says the vernacular. The Italian fairy tale tells how the blessed bread of the parents leads to the Otherworld. In America, it is reported how an old woman saves the people from famine.
Join us on a journey through Peru, Spain, Italy and the Safien Valley – told in Swiss dialect, interwoven with Spanish, Italian and Romance interludes. A fairytale evening of storytelling – touching, poetic and full of surprising twists.

Carmela Saputelli - the narrator:
She is happy when she makes the children's eyes light up and can reach the hearts of adults. She is particularly fond of Italian folk tales, then she can combine the Italian language and the Swiss dialect so that the listeners can feel the southern sea breeze.

Conchi Vega:
The narrator has been on the road with fairy tales, legends and myths for 20 years. Storytelling is part of the family tradition. Even her great-great-grandfather traveled through the country with his donkey and sold bread. When he received a glass of chicha, corn beer, he liked to talk a lot. Conchi likes to tell fairy tales from her two homelands, Peru and Spain. In the rhythm of the heart and with her lively imagery, she takes the listener with her.

Anna Cathomas: (Anna la raquintadra)
For a good dozen years, she has been free to tell stories. She tells fairy tales and stories in Romansh and Graubünden German. Her stories change with her. Today, she is increasingly concerned with topics such as peace and joy, love and laughter, courage and compassion, wisdom and truth. They want to be free until the wings of truth fly away with the words right into our hearts.
