We want to sing together with the audience, Romanesque songs or evergreens, monophonic or polyphonic, perhaps not always flawlessly but with heart. We are led by Curdin Lansel, supported by the ad hoc choir of the theatre production "Bab, siu archiv ed jeu".

The play tells of the legacy of a fragmentary language that a farmer leaves to his son. It is a story that is closely linked to the landscape and silence. Three performers of different ages give her a voice. Representing the son, they become the archive of the father's untold stories. (How) can a cross-generational vicious circle be broken?

The production traces the extent of transgenerational trauma in agriculture and searches for the remains of the violence that once befell many shepherd children in the Graubünden Alps. In the course of the evening, traces of a decaying language become visible and audible, which tells of loneliness and longs for connection.
