Special exhibition in the Garage Fontana in Ilanz

Driving has only been allowed in Graubünden for a hundred years. Since then, hardly anything has changed society and the landscape as much as motorized traffic. The special exhibition "AutoGR100. Mobil atras la Surselva" uses numerous photographs from the population to tell the story of these changes in the Surselva: of the first postbus routes and the development of private transport, of the new driving experience and the joy of the freedom gained, of road construction and the changes in the transport system, of the first garages and petrol pumps, of excursions and the close relationship with one's own vehicle, but also of the increasing car load instead of the desire to drive.
