Description

The ideal starting point for this easy circular hike is Malans station. Through the eastern vineyards, you reach the idyllic village center of Malans and finally the upper edge of the village, from where you have a wonderful view of the village and the Chur Rhine Valley. Along the Buochwald forest, the path continues through the winegrowers' village of Jenins. After leaving the village, the circular route leads right through the vineyards down to the ponds at Siechastuda. More or less flat, the route returns between vines and meadows to the starting point.

Hidden Gem

The Weiss Kreuz restaurant in Malans houses the largest magnum bottle wine cellar in Switzerland in its catacombs.
