Monbiel Round
Show all 5 images
Klosters – probably the best known village in the Prättigau. Quiet, rustic, and with wonderful scenic surprises. Besides the chalet-style village character and the most beautiful sunsets, Klosters has much more to offer: especially trails that make trailrunning enthusiasts’ hearts beat faster.

Description
The route starts behind the parking lot of the Arena Klosters. From there, after the first kilometer, the path leads along single trails and natural paths through a beautiful beech forest to an impressive suspension bridge where you cross the roaring Landquart. Shortly afterwards you reach the Walser settlement Monbiel and have already completed half of the stage. From Monbiel, the path leads past sun-scorched fields. But the idyll is deceptive, as the trail definitely has its challenges. It leads you through meadows and single trails to Monbielerstrasse. The last meters take you along Talbachstrasse back to the starting point at the parking lot near Arena Klosters, where the beautiful trailrunning route ends after about 9 kilometers.
Hidden Gem
Right next to the Arena Klosters is the cozy Klosters lakeside swimming area. Perfect to relax after a strenuous run!
Safety Note
In the Davos Klosters destination there are many managed alpine farms with livestock. Therefore, you can expect to encounter animals everywhere. We ask for appropriate consideration.
