Description

The start of this beautiful mountain hike is at the Pizolhütte at 2,221 m.a.s.l. You can get there by cable car and chairlift of the Pizolbahnen. On the way to the highest point of the hike, the Lavtinasattel at 2,586 m above sea level, you pass the Wildsee lake, which is a popular photo subject and one of the five lakes on the famous 5-Lakes Pizol hike. From the Lavtinasattel, the route is practically all downhill to the Batöni waterfall arena and then to Weisstannen.

Batöni waterfall arena: From left to right, you have the Piltschinabachfall, the Sässbachfall and the Muttenbachfall in front of you, which are 81, 86 and 45 meters long respectively. Just above the confluence of the three streams, the Lavtina stream flows into the Piltschina stream and a little further below, the Guetental stream flows into the Gufel stream.
