Description

The start of this beautiful mountain hike is at the Pizolhütte at 2,221 m above sea level. You get there by gondola and chairlift of the Pizolbahnen. On the way to the highest point of the hike, the Lavtinasattel at 2,586 m above sea level, you pass the Wildsee, which is a popular photo motif and one of the five lakes of the well-known 5-Lake route Pizol. From the Lavtinasattel it is practically all downhill to the Batöni Waterfall Arena and then on to Weisstannen.

Batöni Waterfall Arena: From left to right you face the Piltschinabachfall, the Sässbachfall, and the Muttenbachfall, which have lengths of 81, 86, and 45 meters respectively in this order. Slightly above the confluence of the three streams, the Lavtinabach flows into the Piltschinabach and a little further down the Guetentalbach flows into the Gufelbach.
