Description

From the train station, walk towards the centre of the village, where the Tamina Gorge is signposted. However, the hike first takes you to the spa gardens of the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, where you can see the imposing sequoias. Afterwards you walk along the wild Tamina through the ever-narrowing Tobel. At the Alte Bad Pfäfers you cross the river and reach the turnstile, which lets you into the magical rock world. Via footbridges and a tunnel you finally reach the spring grotto. From Alte Bad Präfers you can take the same route back to Bad Ragaz. Alternatively, the Schluchtenbus or the Rösslipost are also available for the way back.

Sequoia trees (power place): The spa park of the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz offers many strong, beautiful trees, among which the two large Sequoiadendron giganteum stand out. Both trees have high energies, but one has significantly less than the other.

Wächterstein: On the way to the Alte Bad Pfäfers you come across the Wächterstein in the Tamin gorge. For the former man, nature was of course alive. If a conspicuous stone, which shines noticeably, has stood on the way, this has been attributed a special significance.

Badkapelle (Heilplatz): The history of the last preserved baroque bath in Switzerland begins in 1240, when, according to legend, two hunters discover the warm spring. Over the years and centuries, Bad Pfäfers grows and becomes a sought-after, international spa with a famous clientele. The original baroque bath chapel, renovated in neo-Gothic style, is dedicated to Saint Magdalene. You are here in a strong place of power. The intensity of the earth's radiation is very high, the quality of the energies is building up and degrading and can support healing processes.

Spring Grotto (Heilplatz): Past the Old Bad Pfäfers you go through the turnstile (entrance/coin insertion) into the gorge. Help yourself to the small thermal water fountain in the tunnel, the water is healthy, its energies are high, the energy quality is building up and degrading, which can bring the organism into balance with frequent and regular use. From an energetic point of view, this is a healing place.
