Description

The starting point of the "Where travellers once strolled" walk is at the town hall in Thusis. The walk leads past the Schlössli to the old schoolhouse and over the stony wagon up to Villa Hestia. Via Cresta and Tagstein Castle, the walker reaches the viewpoint Tubenstein. Through the castle forest, the footpath leads back to Thusis.


At the start you will find the free brochure (MiniGuide), which provides exciting information on nine selected locations and/or objects. The time required is about 100 minutes.

Thusis is not only a staging point on an international trade route, it has also always been a regional centre. In addition to the north-south axis, other connections used to play a major role for the population.
