Cross- country ski trail Flims Conn

This varied tour takes you through the fairytale-like Flims Grosswald forest and to the "Grand Canyon of Switzerland". With a length of nine kilometers and an elevation gain of just under 180 meters, this is a moderately difficult tour for which you should plan around one to three hours in total. Those who want even more demanding, take the trail at the junction Conn / Prau la Selva to the sports center Prau la Selva and back (total 8 km). Then we continue on the trail to Conn and back to Flims Waldhaus.

The starting point is the Flims cross-country skiing center, which you can easily reach by car or post bus. From there, you glide across the meadows of Rens and enjoy breathtaking views of the snow-covered mountains of Graubünden. You soon enter the Flims Grosswald forest, where a fairytale winter landscape of impressive boulders, fir trees and beech trees awaits you, and you can stop off at the restaurant of the same name in the Conn forest clearing to warm up. From here, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the 14-kilometre-long Rhine Gorge. I also recommend a detour on foot to the "il Spir" viewing platform. Winding trails then take you uphill again and back to your starting point.
